Victor Osimhen was once again on the scoresheet for Galatasaray as the Turkish giants secured a 3-1 victory over Göztepe in the Turkish Super League on Sunday.
The Istanbul side went behind just six minutes into the game through Efkan Bekiroğlu’s opener for visitors Goztepe.
But a moment of brilliance from the Nigerian international in the 19th minute leveled the score before a red card issued to Goztepe and Cameroon national team defender Malcom Bokele set the stage for the hosts to surge to victory.
The home side controlled possession in the second half and it paid off when Gabriel Sara found the net in the 63rd minute before Mauro Icardi sealed the deal for the reigning Turkish champions.
This 3-1 victory means the Istanbul giants remain top of the league table with 28 points, with the Super Eagles marksman currently having six goals in nine games across all competitions to his name this season.
