The Nigeria national team shot stopper has been outstanding since joining Brighton. Despite her team’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Spurs, her free kick save in the match caught the eye of fans and analysts alike.
Nnadozie’s save came from a powerful free-kick by Finnish midfielder Eveliina Summanen, whose strike pierced through the Brighton wall before being denied by the Super Falcons keeper with a full stretch save.
Other nominees for the monthly award are Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce, Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar, Everton’s Emily Ramsey, and Leicester City’s Janina Leitzig.
