Zamalek’s medical staff have provided an update on the injuries sustained by Juan Bezerra, Mohamed Sobhy, and Ahmed Fattouh during the team’s 3–1 victory over Tala’ea El Gaish on Sunday in the Nile Egyptian League.
The White Knights secured the win at Cairo International Stadium in Round 13, moving up to 22 points in the league table. However, the victory came at a cost, with three key players picking up knocks during the match.
According to the club’s medical report, Brazilian winger Juan Bezerra suffered a hamstring injury and will undergo further medical tests to determine the full extent of the damage.
Goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhy experienced muscle fatigue, prompting the coaching staff to substitute him as a precaution.
Meanwhile, left-back Ahmed Fattouh sustained a strong collision during the match, but after examination, the medical team confirmed that his condition is now stable.
Zamalek’s staff will continue to monitor the injuries in the coming days to decide on their availability for the team.
