The draw produced several heavyweight encounters and regional rivalries that promise excitement across the continent.
Group A:
RS Berkane (Morocco), Pyramids FC (Egypt), Rivers United (Nigeria), Power Dynamos (Zambia)
Group B:
Al Ahly SC (Egypt), Young Africans (Tanzania), AS FAR Rabat (Morocco), JS Kabylie (Algeria)
Group C:

The draw has set up several intriguing fixtures — particularly in Group B, where defending champions Al Ahly will face a tough challenge against Young Africans, AS FAR, and JS Kabylie, in what looks like one of the toughest groups of the competition.
Meanwhile, Group A features a compelling North African–Arab mix with RS Berkane and Pyramids FC expected to battle for top spot, though Rivers United and Power Dynamos could prove to be dangerous outsiders.
In Group C, 2016 champions Mamelodi Sundowns will be the favorites, but both Al Hilal and MC Alger have the pedigree to push them all the way.
Group D also promises fireworks, with Tunisian giants Espérance, Tanzanian powerhouse Simba SC, and Angolan side Petro Atlético all eyeing qualification, while Stade Malien may spring surprises.
The group stage matches will be played between November 2025 and February 2026, running in parallel with the CAF Confederation Cup, as Africa’s elite clubs begin their journey toward continental glory.
