Paul Onuachu bags October player of the month

Nigerian and Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu has been named the Turkish Super Lig Player of the Month for October.

Onuachu beat eight other players to the individual honour including tfellow teammate and Cameroonian goalkeepr, Andre Onana.

Others nominated for the player of the were Galatasaray S.K. duo of Ivorian defender Wilfried Singo and Davinson Sanchez, Ederson Moraes, Milan Skriniar Marco Asensio (Fenerbahçe SK trio), Rafa Silva, Orkun Kokcu, from Beşiktaş J.K.

The Black Sea Storm were unbeaten in October with two wins and one draw as the Nigerian striker scored two goals and provided one assist in three league outings for Trabzonspor during the month of October.

Onuachu has already won the Goal of the Month award twice this season.

The 31-year-old is the joint highest goal scorer in the league with seven goals, in 11 league appearances for Trabzonspor in the current campaign.
