Chiamaka Nnadozie nominated for FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper of the year

Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the 2025 Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Award.

The Nigeria international has enjoyed a stellar year for both club and country will battle Hannah Hampton, Ann-Katrin Berger, Cata Coll, Christiane Endler, Anna Moorhouse, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce for the award.

The shot stopper helped her former club, Paris FC, win the Coupe de France Feminine in May, making two saves in the shootout, with Paris FC ending their 20-year wait for a silverware after a 5-4 shootout victory.

Meanwhile, for the national team, Nnadozie played a major role in the Nigeria Super Falcons’ 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco.

The 24-year-old kept four clean sheets and was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament. This is Nnadozie’s third nomination of the year as she was among the nominees for the inaugural Women’s Yashin Trophy and the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year.
