Head coach of Medeama SC Ibrahim Tanko has watered down any form of pressure associated with their week 9 fixture against Aduana FC on Sunday.
It will be a clash of two former Ghana Premier League champions at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park with both clubs eying the top spot.
Aduana lead the table on 18 points, just one better than Medeama after eight games and head coach of Medeama, Ibrahim Tanko has reacted ahead of the game.
“Like any other game, we are playing away but I think we play like we are playing at home. Aduana [have done] very good recruitment, [they have a ] very good team but I think we are also Medeama, we are in good form and we are going there either to win or take a point,” Ibrahim Tanko told MEDi TV.
“In general we are expecting a good game, first and second clubs [and] only one point difference [and] like I said they made a very good recruitment [just] like us and playing very good football so definitely the details will decide the game and this is what we are working for.”
The Mauve and Yellow have recorded five wins and two draws with one defeat on the road.
