A new Cairo Derby is on the horizon, as Al Ahly and Zamalek are set to clash once again in the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup Final, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Super Cup tournament, featuring Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Ceramica Cleopatra, is being staged in the UAE capital this year. Zamalek booked their spot in the final after a dramatic penalty shootout victory (5–4) over Pyramids, following a goalless draw in regular time.
Earlier, Al Ahly secured their place in the final by defeating Ceramica Cleopatra 2–1 in the other semifinal.
The highly anticipated Egyptian Super Cup final between Al Ahly and Zamalek will take place at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on Sunday, November 9, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 PM (GMT).
Al Ahly will enter the match as the record champions of the Egyptian Super Cup, having lifted the trophy 15 times, while Zamalek have won it 4 times.
