Tunisia set for Brazil showdown as they line up three friendlies ahead of AFCON 2025

African giants Tunisia have confirmed a trio of international friendly matches this month as part of their final preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) scheduled to take place in Morocco next month.

The Carthage Eagles will face Mauritania, Jordan, and five-time world champions Brazil in what promises to be a thrilling build-up to Africa’s biggest football event.

Tunisia will begin their warm-up schedule against Mauritania on November 12, before taking on Jordan two days later. Their final test will be against Brazil on November 18 in Lille, France, a fixture expected to draw massive global attention as the North Africans test themselves against one of football’s elite sides.

The 2004 AFCON winners are among the tournament favorites and will be using these games to fine-tune their tactics, assess squad balance, and build momentum before the competition kicks off in December.

Tunisia are placed in Group C alongside Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda, with their opening match set for December 23 against Uganda at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Olympic Annex Stadium in Rabat.

With a balanced mix of African and international opposition, Tunisia’s preparatory friendlies are expected to provide head coach Sami Trabelsi with valuable insights ahead of their tournament in Morocco.
