Ghana Premier League: Asante Kotoko drop points against Vision FC

Asante Kotoko missed out on recording their third straight Ghana Premier League victory following a goalless draw in a week seven outstanding game at Vision FC on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors carried two important wins into the fixture, having defeated Karela United by 4-2 in week eight before nailing rivals Hearts of Oak by 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the ninth week.

The first half of the encounter was evenly matched with little to no clear scoring chances created by both sides at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park.

The second department of the game was not different as the two clubs continued a cautious approach to the game, ending the entire proceedings with spoils shared.

Asante Kotoko are yet to taste defeat this campaign

The goalless draw keeps Kotoko’s unbeaten record this term intact and moves them to 15 points in seventh spot on the Ghana Premier League standings from seven matches with two outstanding games to clear. Kotoko will next host leaders and two-time champions Aduana FC in their week 10 game.

Vision FC on the other hand currently sit in 10th on the log with 12 points with nine matches and will next travel to play their week 10 fixture against Holy Stars on November 16.
