Saudi Arabia secured a 1–0 victory over Ivory Coast in a friendly match played on Friday evening at Al-Enma Stadium in Jeddah, as both teams continued their preparations for upcoming competitions.
The only goal of the match came in the 8th minute through Al-Ahli Jeddah player Saleh Abu Al-Shamat, who capitalized on a defensive mistake from an Ivorian defender to put the hosts ahead.

Saudi Arabia, currently preparing for the Arab Cup to be held in Qatar this December, will play another friendly on Tuesday in Riyadh against Algeria.
Ivory Coast, meanwhile, are gearing up for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, which is scheduled to kick off on 21 December.
In another friendly match on Friday, Comoros defeated Namibia 1–0 thanks to an 85th-minute goal from Remy Vita. Comoros are preparing to face Yemen in the Arab Cup qualifying rounds.
