NPFL: Bright Ozebagbe unhappy despite Ikorodu City victory

Ikorodu City technical advisor Bright Ozebagbe expressed displeasure with his team’s concession after the 2-1 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) win over Plateau United on Saturday.

Goals from Joseph Arumala and Alade Balogun helped Ikorodu City to win in the matchday 13 encounter, before a consolidatory Plateau United goal through Wisdom Ndom.

However, following the teams victory, Ozebagbe on an interview via the clubs Facebook page, blamed a lack of concentration for his side conceding a goal.

“I’m disappointed with our failure to keep a clean sheet in the game against Plateau United.”

We worked on the areas of throwing close to the box on how to defend them but they switched off at that time and the goal came in, am not happy with it.”

Ikorodu City currently seats top of the NPFL table following their victory on Saturday.
