ES Sétif have officially announced the appointment of Serbian coach Sredojevic Milutin as the new head coach of the first team. The decision came upon the recommendation of the club’s sporting director, Azeddine Aarab, as part of the management’s plan to restore balance and provide the necessary boost to the squad for the remainder of the season.

In their statement, the Algerian club’s board reaffirmed its full support for Aarab’s choices and urged supporters to stand firmly behind the team in this phase.
The statement added that the backing of the fans will be for regaining stability and achieving positive results worthy of the club’s reputation and the ambitions of its supporters.

Sredojevic Milutin “Michu” becomes the third coach to take charge of ES Sétif this season, following German manager Antoine Hey and Toufik Rouabah — a sequence that reflects the technical instability the club has experienced throughout the campaign.

The Serbian tactician brings long career across the African continent. He has managed several major clubs and national teams, including Zamalek of Egypt, Sudanese giants Al-Hilal and Al-Merrikh, as well as Young Africans of Tanzania. Micho has also coached the national teams of Libya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zambia.
