Guinea international Mohamed Bayo grabbed a brace as Gaziantep FK claimed a 3-0 victory at Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Gaziantep were in search of their first win after two straight draws and they did not waste time in their quest, opening the floodgates in the first half.
Romanian midfielder Alexandru Maxim made no mistake in scoring from the penalty spot after a VAR review in the 39th minute of their Round 13 fixture.
Just on the stroke of halftime, Bayo found his sixth goal of the season and the visitors’ second of the afternoon from Drissa Camara’s assist to compound Kayserispor’s woes in front of their home fans.
Back from recess, Camara provided his second assist for the Guinean to score the visitors’ third of the day, keeping Gaziantep’s score line of 3-0 until the final whistle.
The double took the 27-year-old French-born forward to four goals in eight games this campaign. He is currently on loan from French Ligue 1 club Lille and has previously had loan spells at Clermont Foot, Le Havre and Belgium’s Royal Antwerp.
Saturday’s winners move into sixth on the league table with 22 points from 13 matches while Kayserispor languish in 17th on nine points.
