Video: Aissa Mandi scores as Lille crush Paris FC in Ligue 1

Algerian international Aissa Mandi played a starring role as Lille secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Paris FC in the 13th round of the French Ligue 1. He scored Lille’s third goal with a header in the 80th minute.

The scoring was opened by Olivier Giroud, who netted a brace in the 40th and 77th minutes (the second from a penalty). Aissa Mandi added the third goal, followed by Marius Broholm, who sealed the win in stoppage time with a penalty for the fourth goal.

For Paris FC, Willem Geubbels scored in the 11th minute and Lohann Doucet pulled one back in the 84th minute, but it was not enough to halt Lille’s victory.

After this win, Lille sit 4th place in the Ligue 1 standings with 23 points, while Paris FC are 12th with 14 points.
