Rivers Angels unveil new signings ahead of NWFL season

The seven time NWFL champions unveiled their new signings on SaturdaNigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Rivers Angels have completed the signing of three new players ahead of the 2025–26 league season.y and Sunday.

Rivers Angels new additions includes goalkeeper, Bakare Shukurat who joins the Jewels of Rivers from Nasarawa Amazons, Midfield duo of Zainab Oduga and Rasheedat Salau joins from Ekiti Queens

The Jewels of Rivers have been drawn in group A of the 2025–26 NWFL season.

They will open their campaign on December 3rd, when they welcome Naija Ratels in a matchday 2 encounter as they push for an eighth NWFL title.

The NWFL new season will commence on Wednesday, November 26.
