Omolle promises more goals to spur Tusker FC to success this season

After scoring his first goal for Kenyan Premier League outfit Tusker FC winger Thomas Omolle is hoping his first goal of the season can spur the Brewers’ to success in the FKF Premier League this campaign.

Omolle scored the winning goal in last Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Mara Sugar and he believes finding the back of the net after several impressive performances is the catalyst he needs to spur his season.

‘This season my target was to add goals’

“It was a huge delight to score and help the team win. I have been working hard to get that goal and getting it finally is a massive boost for me in terms of confidence.

This season my target was to add goals and assists into my game. Last season, I didn’t record as much and I have been ambitious to try and improve,” Omolle said as quoted by Tusker FC Media.

The winger says he has been paying more attention to his deliveries and eye for goal in training and believes the results are finally showing.

“As a forward, you are measured by either the goals you score or the assists you give. I hope to keep improving, keep scoring and keep assisting because that is what the team needs me for. Of course I still have lots to improve on and I am to ensure that I deliver more,” added the forward.

With only 11 games gone this season, scoring early will be an advantage to set into his targets and achieve them.
