Ghana Premier League: “All Blacks needs to finish on a high” – Ahmed Fathi

Head coach of All Blacks Ahmed Fathi has shared thoughts on the need to finish the first half of the Ghana Premier League season on a high.

The Egyptian trainer has turned things around for the Premier League returnees after a jerky start to the current campaign.

Ahead of their week 15 fixture on Saturday at Bechem United, Ahmed Fathi knows the challenge that awaits the Swedru based club.

All Blacks are yet to lose a game in five matches

“Everyone knew that we have a hard mission so we came back and watched ourselves and where we needed to improve and we started to fix our problems and improve our team for the next game.

“We knew that in this game you have to fight enough to collect as much as you can to keep yourself in a good position in the table,” Ahmed Fathi told All Blacks TV.

“Actually it’s a very hard table and when you look at all the teams the points are very close ad one game can put you up and one game can put you down and one game can put you in the relegation zone so what we believe is to work harder, we need to be more ready and strong enough to face the opponent and we need to finish the first round with good results.”

Swedru All Blacks’ impressive performance includes going five matches without a loss with wins against Dreams fc, Vision FC and Eleven Wonders and goalless draw games against Hearts of Oak and Young Apostles.

All Blacks currently sit in 10th on 18 points from 14 matches, nine points away from leaders Aduana FC.
