Medeama SC will look to go top of the Ghana Premier League table when they host Basake Holy Stars in a week 15 fixture on Monday, December 22 at the Tarkwa TnA Park
The Mauve and Yellow currently sit second on the league table with 26 points, two adrift of leaders Aduana. Medeama will face off with Basake Holy Stars in week 15 at the Tarkwa TnA Park and head coach of the club, Ibrahim Tanko spoke about the team’s readiness for the encounter.
“We are preparing against any team almost the same because I always that there is no small team I the league, anyone can beat any team on a good day so definitely we are preparing like any other game and we hope our boys will do the needful so that we will keep the points here,” Ibrahim Tanko told MEDi TV.
“It’s good the national team players are back without injuries so definitely we have days before we play Holy Stars on Monday so everyone is on board except Emmanuel Owusu.”
Medeama managed to beat Berekum Chelsea by 2-1 at home and they have an outstanding game against reigning champions Gold Stars.
