Zamalek edge Baladiyat El Mahalla to reach Egypt Cup round of 16

Zamalek secured anarrow 1-0 victory over Baladiyat El Mahalla in the Round of 32 of the Egypt Cup, booking their place in the next stage of the competition.

The winning goal was scored by Nasser Mansi in first-half stoppage time (45+1). The striker capitalized on a perfectly weighted through ball from Ahmed Sherif, breaking behind the defense before skillfully rounding the goalkeeper and slotting the ball into the net.

Mansi’s strike proved decisive, as Zamalek managed to preserve their slim advantage until the final whistle.

With the win, Zamalek advance to the Round of 16, where they will face Ceramica Cleopatra. Ceramica Cleopatra reached this stage after defeating Abu Qir Fertilizers 2-0 in their Round of 32 encounter.\
