URA FC have received a significant boost with the welcome return of roving right-back James Begisa Penza following a lengthy three-month injury layoff.
The club has confirmed that Begisa, who suffered a frightening head collision in stoppage time during URA FC’s league encounter against NEC FC in October 2025 has returned to full training, bringing relief to the entire URA FC fraternity.
The dependable defender sustained a serious forehead concussion that left a visible dent, prompting immediate on-field medical intervention before he was rushed to St Catherine hospital for further examinations, including a brain CT scan to rule out any internal complications.
After successfully passing all medical assessments, Begisa has returned to full training with the rest of his teammates and the comeback comes as welcome news to head coach Hussein Mbalangu and the technical team, with the energetic right-back having been a key figure for the Tax Collectors both at club level and on national duty before the unfortunate incident.
His resilience and steady progress mark a huge morale boost for the squad as URA FC continue their push in the ongoing campaign, with fans eagerly looking forward to seeing the combative defender back in action soon.
