The Qatar Football Festival announced on Monday the schedule of Egypt’s friendly matches to be played next March, as part of the Pharaohs’ final preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Egypt have already secured their place at the World Cup, with the draw placing them in Group G alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.
The Egyptian national team will play two friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Spain, with the fixtures scheduled as follows:
March 26: Egypt vs Saudi Arabia – Ahmed bin Ali Stadium
March 30: Egypt vs Spain – Lusail Stadium
The Qatar Football Festival also confirmed three additional friendly matches during the same period:
March 26: Qatar vs Serbia – Jassim bin Hamad Stadium
March 30: Saudi Arabia vs Serbia – Jassim bin Hamad Stadium
March 31: Qatar vs Argentina – Lusail Stadium
Egypt’s two matches form part of the team’s preparation program for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico next summer.
