Nigeria senior men national team captain and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reportedly been offered to Premier League giants Manchester United in the January transfer window.

The news was revealed by Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Thursday via his YouTube channel.

Ndidi is currently playing for Beşiktaş, having joined the Turkish side in the summer of 2025.

According to Romano, the Super Eagles skipper is being considered by Manchester United as a potential addition to bolster their midfield for the second half of the season.

“One player that has been offered to Manchester United is Wilfred Ndidi.

A former Leicester City midfielder who is now playing in Turkey is being considered as a possible signing for the January transfer window in the midfield.”

Romano added that while the defensive midfielder is eager to return to the Premier League, Manchester United has not yet submitted an official bid.

“Manchester United know about this opportunity, but right now they haven’t made any offer or bid.

The player is ready to sign whatever deal is needed to return to the Premier League.”

Since joining Beşiktaş, Ndidi has become a vital figure for the “Black Eagles,” making 14 league starts, scoring once, and serving as the club’s vice-captain.

He is no stranger to English football, having spent eight years with Leicester City across the Premier League and the Championship before his move to Turkey.
