Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continues to rewrite history in the Premier League, moving up the all-time assists chart after delivering another decisive contribution on Saturday.
Salah registered an assist during Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, in the matchday 23 fixture of the 2025–26 Premier League season.
The Liverpool winger set up Dominik Szoboszlai for the Reds’ goal, taking his tally to four assists this season, the highest number recorded by any Liverpool player in the league so far.
With that assist, Salah reached 91 Premier League assists in his career, moving him into ninth place on the competition’s all-time assists list. In doing so, he overtook his former Liverpool teammate James Milner, who now sits tenth with 90 assists.
Salah is now just one assist away from equaling Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool legend, who ranks eighth with 92 assists.
