Al Masry will be without Nigerian striker John Ebuka for their decisive CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final second leg against Simba SC, after the forward sustained a hamstring tear that sidelines him from the trip to Tanzania.
Ebuka, who played a key role in the first leg by scoring Al Masry’s second goal in the 2–0 win in Egypt, has been ruled out of the squad due to the injury setback.
The second leg is scheduled for 1:00 PM GMT (4:00 PM local time / 3:00 PM Cairo time) on Wednesday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Al Masry coach Anis Boujelbene has named a 24-man squad for the journey to Tanzania.
The squad list is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gad, Mahmoud Hamdy, Mohamed Shehata
Defenders: Karim El Iraqi, Ahmed Eid, Baher El-Mohamady, Khaled Sobhi, Mohamed Hashem, Hassan Ali, Amr Saadawy
