The round of 16 of the Ghana MTN FA Cup draw was held on Tuesday at the FA Secretariat with defending champions Asante Kotoko paired against two time Ghana Premier League holders Aduana FC.
Kotoko, who defeated Division One League club, Golden Kick FC 2-1 to lift their 10th title last season, will host the clash against Aduana at the Baba Yara Stadium with the fixtures set between February 6 and 9 across eight venues.
Kotoko booked the round of sixteen spot after dispatching city rivals King Faisal 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium with Aduana seeing off Berekum Arsenal 2-0 at the Golden City Park to qualify for the next round.
Former Champions and current Ghana Premier League leaders, Medeama SC will square off with FC Samartex 1996, while 2023 champions Dreams FC take on 2014 finalists Inter Allies FC in the other fixtures.
Berekum Chelsea who won the Ghana Premier League in the 2010-11 season will face off with Division One League Zone One A leaders Tamale City.
Nations FC and Swedru All Blacks will lock horns in an all-Premier League affair at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Abrankese.
Premier League strugglers, Eleven Wonders have a date with last season’s semi-finalists Attram De Visser, as second-tier side True Life FC takes on Kpando Heart of Lions. Techiman Liberty Youth will be doing battle with Real Tamale United.
Matches in the Round of 16 are scheduled for the weekend of Friday, February 6 to Monday, February 9, 2026.
