Botswana top-flight league side Mochudi Centre Chiefs have added another La Liga flavour to their squad. Owned by Kaizer Chiefs legend, the Gaborone-based club has signed former Real Sociedad B team defender Aitor Aldalur.
The Spaniard has joined the Gaborone-based club from Indian team Malappuram FC on a one-year-and-six months contract. The 34-year-old former La Liga right-back is the age mate of Centre Chiefsโ newly-appointed coach and compatriot Miguel Corral Torreria.

It comes as no surprise that Aldalur, who was on the books of Real Sociedad reserve team between 2009 and 2011, has secured the job with the Botswana outfit. Afterall, Torreriaโs last job was with Malappuram FC.
In a statement, the FNB Premiership team described the ex-Real Sociedad under-19 player as a quality addition to their defence.
โThe defender has signed a contract with the club for a period of one and six months, reinforcing our squad as we continue to strengthen for the season,โ reads part of the statement.
โAitor brings valuable international experience, having previously featured for Real Sociedad U19 and Real Sociedad B, where he developed within one of Spainโs most respected football academies.

โHis arrival adds quality, tactical discipline and depth to our defensive unit, as the team builds for the remainder of the season and future campaigns.โ
The Spaniard is the latest defensive arrival at Centre Chiefs, joining Bobo Sima and Kitso Mangolo, previously for Kaizer Chiefs reserves and Richards Bay respectively.
Centre Chiefs have been busy on the transfer market signing players from far and wide. It all started with the arrival of Argentine midfielder Nahuel Nicolรกs Melgarejo in September 2025. The rest is history.
