Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continued his impressive run of form in terms of numbers, providing an assist in Liverpool’s dominant 4–1 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Salah played a key role in Liverpool’s third goal, delivering a pass inside the penalty area to Florian Wirtz in the 67th minute, with the German midfielder finishing into the net.
Liverpool’s other goals came through Hugo Ekitike, who scored twice in quick succession in the 41st and 43rd minutes, before Ibrahima Konaté sealed the win deep into stoppage time with a goal in the 93rd minute.
This assist marked Salah’s third consecutive goal contribution for Liverpool. He had previously set up a goal against Bournemouth in the last Premier League round, before finding the net himself against Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League.
With this victory, Liverpool move up to 39 points, climbing to fifth place in the league table, while Newcastle United remain on 33 points, sitting 10th.
