German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg has reportedly made a late move for Club Brugge and Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika.
Onyedika, who has been frequently linked with a move to Turkish Süper Lig champions Galatasaray, has now emerged on Wolfsburg’s radar.
The Bundesliga side has reportedly tabled an initial bid in excess of €10 million, though this remains significantly below Club Brugge’s valuation.
Club Brugge is keen to keep the 24-year-old until at least the end of the season, as Onyedika is under contract with the Belgian Pro League side until 2027. Furthermore, Premier League club Aston Villa reportedly has the midfielder on its list of potential targets.
