During the game, Sakala scored with three minutes to the break, joining Hussain Al Sultan and former Manchester United defender Chris Smalling on the scoresheet.

The Chipolopolo forward disclosed that he disagreed with his coach Pedro Emmanuel’s decision to take him off at half time.

“I spoke with the coach. I had a groin problem in the first half. He wanted to take me off at half-time. I was feeling good and I wanted to continue playing. I am sure he is thinking about the next game,” he said.

Giorgos Masouras scored the consolation goal for Al-Feiha with 10 minutes to full-time. Al-Feiha sit in 12th place in the log table with 20 points from 19 games, 27 points behind runaway leaders Al Hilal.

When will Sakala return to action?

The Chipolopolo star has registered eight goals and provided four assists in 29 Saudi Pro League matches this season.

Sakala, who had a dismal campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations with Zambia, is expected to return to action on Thursday when his side take on Al-Najma Saudi.

The AFCON star failed to score for Chipolopolo in three group-stage games at the tournament held in Morocco.
