StarTimes UPL: Second round set to deliver drama, derbies & decisive encounters

After an electrifying first round of the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League, the league returns with the second round fixtures announced, promising intense clashes and pivotal encounters in the race for the title.

The action kicks off on Thursday, February 12, with three matches on the opening day, while matchday 16 will wrap up on Saturday, February 14.

Table-toppers Vipers face an early challenge away to BUL at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Friday, February 13.

KCCA and Vipers clash at Lugogo on April 29

On the same day, KCCA FC will take on NEC at Lugogo, setting the stage for a competitive weekend. SC Villa, looking to solidify their title ambitions, will travel to Nakivubo to meet a determined URA side on Saturday, while Express FC host second-placed surprise package Entebbe UPPC in a key double-header.

Matchday 17 promises further excitement with Vipers returning home to face NEC on Tuesday, February 17, followed by KCCA welcoming BUL to Lugogo the next day.

A marquee clash is set for March 6 as KCCA hosts Police FC at Lugogo, seeking revenge after their 2-0 defeat to Police in the first round. City rivals SC Villa and Express will lock horns a day later at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, in another high-stakes fixture.
