The four nation tournament, dubbed the “Pink Ladies Cup” will feature Ghana, Hong Kong, Tanzania and Russia and is set between February 28 and March 6.
Ghana head coach Kim Lars Björkegren has managed to shape the Black Queens into a very capable side and he will use the tournament to assess both experienced and new players ahead of the WAFCON.
The Black Queens will return to Morocco for the expanded edition of the WAFCON hoping to better their last performance where they clinched bronze.
Ghana, who are yet to win the Women’s AFCON, qualified for the next version with an emphatic 7-0 aggregate win over Egypt with the first leg ending 3-0 and the reverse fixture in Accra producing a 4-0 victory.
The next tournament is set between March 17 and April 3 between 16 teams. Ghana is paired in Group D against debutants Cape Verde, Mali and Cameroon for the 16 day competition.
