Cameroon international Michael Ngadeu Ngadjui has been announced as a new player of Chinese outfit Chongqing Tonglianglong FC.
Ngadjui joins the newly promoted Chinese first division club after his contract with Beijing Guoan ran out at the end of the season.
The defender who has 62-caps with two goals for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will now take on a new challenge in the Chinese Super League with the terms of his contract undisclosed.
Ngadeu Ngadjui had played for Beijing Guoan since 2023 gathering 90 matches, scoring six goals and providing three assists before joining the newly promoted side.
The 35-year-old was a key member of the Cameroon senior men’s team that won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Gabon.
The former Gent defender who made his domestic club debut at Canon Yaounde, arrives at Chongqing Tonglianglong FC with a wealth of experience gained over the years having played for several European clubs including Slavia Prague, Sandhausen II, FC Nurnberg II, Gent, Botosani before moving to China with Beijing Guoan.
