Simba SC striker Kibu Denis has officially left the Mainland Tanzania Premier League club after serving for four and a half seasons.
The club confirmed the completion of the player’s sale to a foreign club, thus ending his journey with the Reds of Msimbazi.
Confirming his exit, Simba said: “After being part of our squad for four and a half seasons, Kibu Denis has been sold and is now going to start a new life outside of Simba.”
However, Pan-Africa Football can confirm the Taifa Stars player is on the verge of completing a deal to Libyan giants Al Nasr, with the transfer expected to be finalised at any moment.

According to the source, both clubs have already agreed on the terms of the transfer, paving the way for the Tanzanian international to begin a new chapter in his career in North Africa.
“Kibu is heading to Libya. The club has already reached an agreement to sell him and there are just a few minor issues left before the transfer is completed,” a source within Simba revealed.
“It is a move that is almost done. And immediately he leaves Simba, he will head to Libya to sign the deal. Al Nasr have shown interest to sign the player for quite a long time, and they are happy now they are close to get their man.”
Kibu joined Simba from Mbeya City, where he quickly made a name for himself due to his ability to play with strength, speed and dedication.
During his time with the club, he was among the forwards who were relied upon, making a major contribution through goals and final passes, especially in big Premier League games, derbies and international competitions.
Despite facing challenges and times of criticism, Kibu continued to show discipline and dedication, which made him continue to be trusted by different coaches who have been with the club. His struggles on the field raised his status and earned him respect among Simba SC fans.
So far this season, Kibu scored two goals for the club, both of which were registered in the CAF Champions League. He found the back of the net during the first-round encounter against Eswatini side Nsingizini Hotspurs, a match Simba won convincingly 3-0.
Those goals proved vital in helping the Tanzanian champions progress in the competition.
If Kibu’s tranfers finalises, he will reunite with two familiar faces at Al Nasr – midfielder Fabrice Ngoma and striker Steven Mukwala.
Both players featured for Simba in recent seasons before making their respective moves to the Libyan club.
