Congolese international Fiston Mayele reached a historic milestone after taking his tally to 50 goals in all official competitions for Pyramids FC.
Mayele reached the landmark during his team’s 3-1 away victory over Ghazl El Mahalla SC at El Mahalla Stadium in Round 19 of the Egyptian League. The striker netted his side’s third goal of the evening, sealing another crucial win in their domestic campaign.
The victory lifted Pyramids to 37 points, moving them joint top of the league table alongside Zamalek.
With that strike, Mayele cemented his status as Pyramids’ all-time leading scorer with 50 goals, extending the gap over his closest challengers. Ibrahim Adel follows with 48 goals, while Abdallah El Said ranks third on 47.
Beyond his individual scoring feats, Mayele has witnessed one of the most successful periods in the club’s history, contributing to multiple major titles, including the CAF Champions League, the Afro-Asian-Pacific Cup, the CAF Super Cup, and the Egypt Cup. Individually, he was named CAF Interclub Player of the Year 2025 and was the CAF Champions League 2024-2025 top scorer.
