Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League outfit Scottland FC have raided Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia for the services of their defender Joshua Onyango.
Onyango, who was part of Kenya national team Harambee Stars that took part in the 2024 Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) has been unveiled alongside ten other new signings.
Confirming the arrival of Joshua Onyango, who signed a two-year-contract, Scottland said in a statement on their social media pages: “We are pleased to announce that Joshua Onyango has officially signed a two-year contract with Scotland FC, completing his move from Gor Mahia FC.

“Joshua brings with him experience, discipline, and proven quality, and we are confident his addition will strengthen Scotland FC as the club works toward its ambitions over the coming seasons.
“We congratulate Joshua on this new chapter in his career and wish him great success at Scotland FC. Congratulations, Joshua Onyango!”
Onyango leaves Gor Mahia after four years at the club. Other new signings include central midfielder Jameson Nduna from SuperSport United, Karen Abel Nyoni from the same club, Prince Tafiremutsa from Dynamos, Seth Musarapachena from Young Bafana, Emmanuel Ziocha from Simba Bhora.
Others are Ghanian Issaka Mohammed from Dynamos, Namibian Issakar Gurirab from Dynamos, Abubakaer Mofat from Mwos, Kwakhe Thwala from Nsinizini Hotspurs, and Blacks Makwinja from Scottland Academy.
In another statement, Scottland FC said: “We bring to you the new signings for the 2026 season in which we seek to defend the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title and also take part in the CAF Champions League.
“The new players are from all departments.”
Scottland were crowned league champions last season after they finished top of he 18-team Premier League table with 69 points from 34 matches. They managed 20 wins, nine draws, and fives defeats.
