Mohamed Bangoura scored a hat-trick as reigning Ligue 1 Mobilis champions MC Alger exploded for five goals in the second half to defeat ES Mostaganem 5-0 in the Algerian top flight.

The Guinean poacher rewarded coach Rulani Mokwena’s decision to restore his place in the starting XI by displaying his strong goal-scoring instincts in the victory. The hosts did provide a stern first half challenge and came close to scoring via set pieces on two occasions.
But while Mostaganem are known for having a capable defense, the hosts completely melted down after the halftime break. Marwane Khelif opened the scoring less than two minutes into the second half before Bangoura took over.
The promising 21-year-old striker scored all three of his goals in the classic fashion of a penalty box striker, opening his account for the day with a scrappy sliding finish from a cross before doubling his tally with a calm finish.

Abdelkader Menezla also added a goal for MCA, who remain firmly in charge of the league after suffering heartbreak in the Algerian Cup quarterfinals against rivals CR Belouizdad earlier this week.
On Friday, JS Kabylie and MC Oran were among the winners to maintain their push for continental football next season. CR Belouizdad will take part in the late match on Saturday evening.
But MCA are poised to win a third consecutive league title. They have a four-point lead on CS Constantine with three matches in hand on their closest challengers, with the ability to concentrate solely on their league duties following eliminations from the cup and the CAF Champions League.
