Head coach of Medeama SC Ibrahim Tanko has expressed mixed feelings about their horrible performance that culminated in a shocking defeat at home to strugglers Hohoe United.
The Mauve and Yellow gave away a 1-0 advantage to dramatically lose 2-1 against Hohoe United at the Tarkwa TnA Park in week 25 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Tanko shared some words after the game: “What I will say is, I have been in this game for a long time and this kind of things happen sometimes because it’s normal that you will miss a penalty, you give away a goal and another own goal so definitely it’s difficult for you to win,” Ibrahim Tanko said after the game.
“Like I said, we have to put it behind us and [because] we still have nine games to play and I think I have to meet with the players and see the way forward.
With nine games to end the season, Ibrahim Tanko wants to quickly forget about the defeat and concentrate on the remaining games of the campaign.
“I think this was a bad day for us and anything we did was bad so I think like I said we have to put it behind us and concentrate on our next games.
Medeama sit top of the league table despite the loss with 46 points, just one above reigning champions GoldStars who lost 3-1 Young Apostles.
