Pyramids FC concluded their matches in the first phase of the Nile Egyptian League with a victory over National Bank of Egypt.
The breakthrough came in the 61st minute when Hamed Hamdan fired a shot from the edge of the penalty area to break the goalless deadlock and score the only goal of the match.
The win lifted Pyramids to 43 points, level with league leaders Zamalek SC, although the White Knights remain ahead on goal difference (+2) and will play a game in the same round on Wednesday against Enppi.
Meanwhile, National Bank’s tally remained at 26 points, ending their hopes of qualifying for the title race group. The team finished the first phase in ninth place, confirming their participation in the relegation group in the second stage of the competition.
The draw for the final phase of the Egyptian Premier League for the 2025–26 season is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 12th March, evening.
