Ahead of Bayer Leverkusen’s knockout phase clash at home to Gunners on Wednesday, Kofane who joined Leverkusen from Albacete says he is ready for the encounter.
“I’m really looking forward to playing this match; Arsenal is an excellent team. We’ve trained well and we want to give our very best.”
Kofane has made 22 Bundesliga appearances with five goals and four assists under manager Kasper Hjulmand who replaced Dutchman Erik ten Hag.
The prolific attacker played four games and scored two goals for Cameroon who exited the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in the quarter finals after losing 2-0 against hosts Morocco.
