DR Congo: TP Mazembe make urgent plea for change in venue

Congolese giants TP Mazembe have made an urgent plea to the Football Federation [Linafoot] ahead of their next three domestic fixture.

TP Mazembe’s management has requested that its three matches, to be played behind closed doors, be held in Kipushi.

The home games against Tshikas, Tshinkunku, and Don Bosco are affected by this request.

TP Mazembe sit top of the league table

Linafoot had initially opted for Likasi in its recently revised schedule, but TP Mazembe chose the neighboring town of Kipushi.

The chosen venue is the Kico Community Stadium, located 30 km from Lubumbashi.

Following their victory in Kananga, the Ravens are training intensively in Lubumbashi during this international break.

Slimane Raho and his men will not return to competition until April 5th as TP Mazembe sit top of the DR Congo Ligue 1 with 58 points, two better than second placed St Eloi Lupopo.
