Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk are weighing up the sale of Nigerian winger Collins Yira Sor at the conclusion of the campaign.
Sor has only twelve months remaining on his current deal with “the Smurfs,” and there are presently no negotiations regarding a contract extension.
According to the Belgian publication Het Laatste Nieuws, Genk are not willing to let the attacker depart as a free agent and would rather capitalize this summer.
The 25-year-old moved to Genk from Slavia Prague back in December 2022.
Sor has netted six goals and provided two assists across all competitions for Blauw-Wit during this season.
If he leaves, he will follow the path of fellow countrymen Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare, who exited Genk for Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers, respectively.
The former Baník Ostrava standout is currently in camp with the Nigerian national team ahead of their friendly matches against Iran and Jordan.
