Not only Zidane? Algeria coach plans goalkeeper rotation for friendlies against Guatemala and Uruguay

Head coach Vladimir Petković has revealed his plans regarding the goalkeeper position ahead of the upcoming international friendlies for the Algeria national football team.

Speaking on Thursday during a press conference, Petković confirmed that the technical staff intends to rotate goalkeepers in the next two matches.

“We are going to play with two different goalkeepers in the next two matches,” Petković explained. “The four goalkeepers we have are doing well so far with the goalkeeping coach.”

He also emphasized the quality within the squad, adding: “The goalkeeping quartet have potential at the level, and I leave their work to the goalkeeping coach. In modern football, there is a special coach responsible for each area, but there is always a head coach.”
