In a statement, the club said: “ESK have completed the signing of 19-year-old winger Paul Osama from Murang’a Seal.
The attacking talent has been one of the big exclamation points in the Kenyan league this season and has contributed greatly to the team’s success at the top of the table.
“Osama has quickly established himself as one of Kenya’s exciting young players. With his speed, technique and ability to challenge one-on-one, he has been a constant threat offensively.
“He also comes from a strong football background as the son of former national team player Godfrey Osama.”
The club’s sports director Ali Fares, said: “Paul is a fast and technical winger, who can play on both wings. He has good drive and courage in the one-on-one game. We see great potential and hope that he can contribute immediately and in the long term.”
“Enköpings SK warmly welcomes Paul Osama to the club and would like to thank Murang’a Seal and Agent 1914 for smooth negotiations.”
“From Murang’a to Sweden,” Murang’a Seal said in a farewell post on Wednesday morning. “Paul Osama, you gave this badge everything. The goals, the fight, the moments we’ll never forget.
“Now it’s your time. Sweden awaits – go shine, go conquer. We’re proud of you. Forever a Seal.”
Osama becomes the latest Kenyan to seal Enköpings’ move, joining the recent trio of Andreas Odhiambo, Stanley Wilson, and Irad Mshindi.
The 18-year-old joined Seal at the beginning of the season from National Super League (NSL) side Mombasa United.
