“After feeling unwell yesterday and being admitted to the hospital, we are grateful to report that he is now feeling much better,” reads part of the statement.
“We thank God for His healing hands and for the steady recovery of our president in making. Please join the SSFF family in continuing to keep president Amin in your thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy return to health.”
Amin was elected last August on a four-year term of office after defeating the incumbent president Augustino Parek.
The Juba-based businessman rebounded to the hot season having also served as SSFF President from 2017 but lost to Parek during the 2021 elections.
The SSFF leader was eventually also ushered in as the executive committee member of East Africa football block, the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations.
