The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has issued a warning to Niger Tornadoes regarding their conduct at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna.
Niger Tornadoes received the caution following formal complaints from several clubs and independent observers concerning behavior at their home ground.
Reports indicate that supporters of the Minna-based club, along with other unauthorized individuals, encroached into restricted areas and disrupted the orderly conduct of matches.
These groups were reportedly poorly controlled, resulting in incidents deemed likely to bring the game into disrepute.
The NPFL has directed Niger Tornadoes to ensure that only duly accredited persons gain access to restricted areas, provide adequate security personnel, and properly control supporters at all times—before, during, and after matches.
Niger Tornadoes have been warned that any further incidents of unauthorized access, encroachment, violence, intimidation, or any form of security breach reported at their stadium will result in severe sanctions.
The “Ikon Allah Boys” are set to host Rangers in their next home fixture.
