Uganda national team star Allan Okello opened the scoring early in the second half before goals from Mudathir Yahya and Pacôme Zouzoua finished the job for reigning champions Yanga, who remain seven points clear of rivals Simba SC.
Despite a constant barrage of attacks in the first half, the hosts were left a bit frustrated after failing to find a goal in the first half. However, Tanzania Prisons failed to cause any trouble on the other end and it was only a matter of time before the champions would strike.
And that moment came in the 50th minute. Excellent ball control from Zouzoua created time to find an option on the right wing and the resulting cross found Okello wide open to power in his header.

Tanzania national team midfielder Yahya doubled the lead in the 68th minute. Duke Abuya’s switch of play from the midfield found Zouzoua on the left wing and the Ivorian’s cross was cushioned into the path of Yahya for an easy finish.
Zouzoua’s recent return from injury continues to ignite the Yanga attack and they appear well on pace to maintain their title defense.
