Hearts of Oak midfielder George Paaku has described their 1-0 win over Young Apostles as one of their best games in this season’s Ghana Premier League.
Paaku, who joined the week 28 action in the second half at the Accra Sports Stadium, spoke after the victory.
“From the beginning of the game we controlled most part of the game and in the 85th minute where the opponent tried to equalize,” he said after the game.

“We had to adjust and be compact to keep a clean sheet ane come out with the win so I think it was one of our best performance because we created a lot of chances and we could have scored more.
“We go into every game to win even if we play away you guys see the way we play and there is nothing like drawing à game.”
Hearts of Oak had gone five matches without a win but in-form striker Frank Duku’s first half strike halted the poor run of form.
The former Vision FC attacker latched on to a sweeping pass in Young Apostles area before transfixing keeper Frank Boateng with a tailored strike in the 35th minute.
The victory keeps the Phobians in third spot on 46 points, four behind second placed Medeama and five adrift of leaders and defending champions GoldStars from 28 games.
The game between Hohoe United and Eleven Wonders scheduled for the Swedru Stadium on Friday was called off due to Hohoe United’s withdrawal from the league.
Later on Monday, record holders Asante Kotoko will host Samartex at the Baba Yara Stadium at 3:00pm.
