Uganda national team star Allan Okello continues to earn his place in the XI of a star-studded Yanga team, with assists on all three goals in the victory.
And midfielder Mudathir Yahya is also in peak form. The Tanzania star has three goals in his last two matches after striking twice in the first half. In the 9th minute, Yahya got the visitors off to a perfect start at the CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza after Okello cushioned down left back Mohamed Hussein’s lofted pass into the penalty area to leave Yahya with an easy finish.

The midfielder then brought his season goal total to seven in the 34th minute after Okello’s cut back left Yahya with another routine finish from the edge of the six-yard box. Ivorian playmaker Pacôme Zouzoua was the visionary this time with an outstanding pass from the midfield to send Okello unopposed down the right flank of the penalty area.
The hosts showed more attacking initiative after the interval but the firepower from Young Africans was too much to handle. In the 68th minute, Congolese winger Maxi Nzengeli finished the scoring with a surging run and finish after collecting a pass from Okello.
