Ismaila Sarr wins Crystal Palace Player of the Month for March

Senegalese winger Ismaïla Sarr continues to shine with Crystal Palace after he scooped Player of the month award following his superb showing for the Premier League club.

Sarr’s goal against Tottenham on March 5, during the 29th matchday of the Premier League, where he scored twice, was also voted goal of the month, contributing to his team’s 3-1 victory.

In excellent form for several weeks, Sarr also shone in the Conference League against AEK Larnaca on March 19th, scoring twice to help Crystal Palace secure a 2-1 win and qualification.

Sarr also scooped goal of the month award

During the March international break, the two-time African champion also found the net for the Senegalese national team against Peru on March 28 at the Stade de France. Crystal Palace currently sit 14th in the Premier League.

Sarr made his debut for Palace as an 84th-minute substitute for Chris Richards in their opening match of the 2024-25 Premier League season, a 2-1 loss at Brentford on 18 August.

He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-0 EFL Cup win over Norwich City; the goal, initially attributed to Eberechi Eze, was awarded to Sarr a week later.

His first league goal for the Eagles came in a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa. After scoring in the fourth minute, he went on to record an assist for Justin Devenny in first-half stoppage time.
